A choreographic showcase of community artists, Dance Chance NWA fosters high-quality dance-making in the region via mentorship, community conversations, and performance visibility. Each event hands the stage to local dancemakers to share their newest works.
Like an open-mic night in motion, the Season Showcase follows a series of three low-cost, work-in-progress events held throughout the fall of ‘23 and spring of ‘24 at the Medium in Springdale. Hosted by NWA Movement Hub founders Karen Castleman and Michelle Summers, Dance Chance NWA Season 3 offers local choreographers an opportunity to present their work to the public and receive feedback from the audience using a unique question-and-answer process.
In the Season Showcase, nine works return to the stage in one unique evening of dance. This one-night event presented in partnership with NWA Movement Hub features choreographers of many genres presenting original works to the local community. The perfect chance for dance aficionados and newcomers to the medium alike to discover outstanding performance works, don’t miss this final showcase of Dance Chance artists.

ABOUT DANCE CHANCE NWA
Dance Chance NWA is a choreographic lab that provides regional choreographers with a platform to workshop and develop new dance works. Each season features a slate of 12 choreographers who present their original choreography at Works-In-Progress showings throughout the year, culminating in a Season Showcase.
