ABOUT ROSS VENOKUR
Ross Venokur makes world class kids’ entertainment — sometimes as a writer-director of feature films (Charming, Rally Road Racers); sometimes as a writer-producer of TV shows (Kenan & Kel, The Tick, Game Over); lately in whatever weird and wonderful format YouTube demands. He has worked with Disney, DreamWorks, Warner Bros., Nickelodeon, the Jim Henson Co., Mark Burnett, Carsey-Werner, Cartoon Network, and many more. He has also written several kids’ books, including Haiku! Gesundheit, illustrated by one of his childhood heroes, Kenny Scharf.
When he’s not doing all that, Ross runs EDH Animation, a mom-and-pop animation studio with his wife, Lenore. They’re currently wrapping Walk Off The Earth in Space, a new animated series featuring the voices and music of the globally adored band Walk Off The Earth. Oh, and there was also that time he and John Cleese sold the Brooklyn Bridge (NFT, long story).
Ross’ latest projects include a fresh take on Winnie the Pooh (YouTube), a yearlong holiday adventure called Ornamental (various social platforms), and his passion project, Truck Don’t Care—a lifestyle brand for pickup lovers that embodies Ross’ core ethos: No obstacles. Only opportunities! Currently, Ross lives in Northwest Arkansas with Lenore and their three daughters.
