Join us to watch the horror classic Child’s Play (1988) in the Momentary’s Fermentation Hall. Director and Writer Tom Holland (Fright Night) will join virtually for a post-film audience Q&A hosted by multidisciplinary artist Rumwolf after the film.

ABOUT TOM HOLLAND
Tom Holland is a director, screenwriter and author. His early writing projects include Class of 1984 (1982) and Psycho II(1983), the latter starring Anthony Perkins as the menacing psychopath Norman Bates which spawned the Psycho franchise. Child’s Play (1988), was a Number One box-office hit in America and a worldwide success, despite controversy over its thematic content. It, like Fright Night (1985) has since gathered a cult following amongst horror fans and they have made 8 films in total. Tom is currently working on a Fright Night book series which includes Fright Night: Origins, out now, and Fright Night: Aftermath which will be released at the end of 2024. He also has the #1 Fiction Podcast on Apple titled the Fright Night – Table Read Podcast where he reunited the original cast and had Mark Hamill and Rosario Dawson join as well.

ABOUT RUMWOLF
Rumwolf [b. 1981] is a multi-disciplinary visual, performance and installation artist based in the Ozarks. His practice focuses on the relationship between art, emotion, and technology expressed through themes of humor, pop culture, and nostalgia. Rumwolf’s performances focus on vulnerability and shared audience experience often employing elements of storytelling, comedy and musical performance. His installation work frequently employs video and projection, songwriting and sound design integrated with print making, sculpture and repurposed found object and ready mades. He was a 2023 artist in residence at The Momentary contemporary art space, awarded the curator’s award from the Tyson Family foundation creative exchange fund, and exhibited his original installation and performance work “The Big Free Picture” at the Satellite Art Gallery in Manhattan in the summer of 2024.
