Opening Artist Talk: A Divided Landscape

Join us for an opening artist talk celebrating our exhibition, A Divided Landscape. Co-curators Kaitlin Garcia-Maestas, associate curator, the Momentary, and Neville Wakefield, guest curator, will join four artists from the exhibition in a lively moderated discussion, followed by an audience Q&A: Matthew Barney, Nicholas Galanin, Lucy Raven, and Xaviera Simmons. You’ll get an expert look into the themes of the exhibition, how this unique collection of works came together, and learn how art and representation can shape our understanding of history.
Free, tickets required. Reserve your spot online or with the Box Office at (479) 657-2335 today.
ABOUT A DIVIDED LANDSCAPE
In A Divided Landscape, seven contemporary artists (Matthew Barney, Andrea Carlson, Nicholas Galanin, Brian Jungen, Lucy Raven, Xaviera Simmons, and Kara Walker) confront the historical and cultural narratives of the American West through paintings, drawings, sculpture, and mixed-media installations throughout the Momentary galleries and outside around the grounds.
