Artists can often help us peel back the layers of the world around us. They can reveal truth, complexities, and realities that are often unseen. This panel, moderated by curator Lauren Haynes, will center around ideas raised by two State of the Art 2020 artists who are using their artworks to document, represent, and reflect their communities and histories to help peel back these layers. Join Lauren in conversation with Marcela Pardo Ariza and Frank Blazquez.
