Sunday Reset | Yin Yoga Nidra with Cocoon Yoga Lab

Join us in the RØDE House with our partners from Cocoon Yoga Lab for the ultimate restorative combination—a yin practice paired with yoga nidra.
Yin yoga involves slow, long, deep posture holds that help prepare your body and mind for yoga nidra by gently stretching your connective tissues. Once you’re comfortably limber, we’ll move into a yoga nidra practice: a sleep-based meditation technique composed of a series of breath, body, and awareness techniques designed to move you through progressive states of relaxation. From the first asana to the last relaxing breath, at each stop of this meditative journey you’ll be able to let go of stress and restore yourself for the week ahead.
Please bring a yoga mat, a blanket, a bolster, pillow, or cushion, and any other props you like to make yourself comfortable during nidra such as an eye pillow or socks. We recommend you wear comfortable layers for this practice.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR
Amber Baumann
When Amber was 19 she found yoga, and it helped solve the debilitating back pain she had experienced throughout childhood. It started out as a practice she used to heal physically and evolved into a practice that healed and sustained her mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Her yoga practice is a space in which she shows up authentically and unapologetically without judgment. It’s a space where Amber is reminded of breath, the present moment, and the intricate beauty of life.
