Turkey and the Wolf Pop-Up
When Turkey and the Wolf was voted Best New Restaurant in the country in 2017 by Bon Appétit, the food world said loud and proud that the art of the sandwich is REAL. Since then, anyone with a stomach and a pulse has been flocking to New Orleans’ Irish Channel neighborhood to experience the rip-roaring good time that is Turkey and the Wolf.
For one day only, the team of Turkey and the Wolf will be recreating their culinary magic in the Arvest Bank Courtyard, complete with rowdy music, frozen margs, and happy bellies. Imagine: the potato-chip-topped fried bologna sandwich of your comfort food dreams, made with the best ingredients and served alongside relaxed patio vibes. It’d have to be made by Mom to get much better than this.
Here at the Momentary, we live for nostalgia with a contemporary twist, so we’ve invited Chef Mason Hereford and crew to bring the party to Northwest Arkansas. And, to make sure you don’t leave empty-handed, we’ll also have exclusive, one-time-only Turkey and the Wolf + the Momentary crossover merchandise for sale in the Momentary Shop.
Supplies are limited at this pop-up lunch, and like in New Orleans, service is first-come, first-served, so don’t sleep on your chance at sampling some of Turkey and the Wolf’s most iconic dishes. Stop on by!
Free, no tickets required to attend. Menu priced a la carte, service lasts until sold out.
Vegetarian options available.
ABOUT THE CHEF
Chef Mason Hereford has been described as “a cross between Jeff Spicoli from Fast Times at Ridgemont High and Willy Wonka”—and it shows. Whether it’s Lamb Tartare served between two Pringles, Lobster Tostadas with brown butter Old Bay mayo, or ice cream served with, quote, “lots of stuff,” Hereford’s childhood love of food is on mouthwatering display in every dish.
