BENTONVILLE, Ark. — The Momentary announced today the launch of its newest culinary experience, Pastry Week. The multi-day celebration features hands-on workshops with renowned pastry chefs Caroline Schiff and Stacey Mei Yan Fong, a panel discussion, film screenings that celebrate the world of pastry, and more. Happening December 3 through 6, 2025, Pastry Week includes a mix of free and ticketed events, concluding with a pastry-focused dinner curated by the Crystal Bridges culinary team.
Hands-on baking workshops feature everything from cookies to crostatas, pies, and chocolate. The workshops are open to seasoned bakers and baking beginners. Chef Caroline Schiff will lead a Cookie Workshop and a Crostata Workshop, where bakers can learn the secrets of the chef’s whimsical flavors. Returning to the Momentary for a second time, Chef Stacey Mei Yan Fong will guide bakers through the art of crafting the perfect pie in a Pie Making Workshop. In addition, chocolatiers from Markham & Fitz will lead a Chocolate & Wine Pairing Workshop, exploring how single-origin cacao and wine come together in perfect harmony.
The Baker’s Market will feature a curated selection of locally made goods from independent bakers. At the Pastry Week Panel and Cookie Contest, guests will have a chance to go head-to-head to impress a panel of experts with their cookie creations. The Momentary will host free film screenings of “Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory,” “Waitress,” and “Marie Antoinette” in the Fermentation Hall during Pastry Week.
On Saturday, December 6, Pastry Week will conclude with a Chef Dinner hosted by the Crystal Bridges culinary team. The multi-course dining experience will celebrate the craft and creativity of pastry in both sweet and savory forms.
“Pastry Week marks an exciting expansion of the Momentary’s culinary programming, offering a thoughtfully curated celebration of pastry that reflects our commitment to exploring food as a form of expression,” said Sam Lott, associate director of food programs at the Momentary. “We’re continuing to show how food connects people while we spotlight the creativity and craft behind pastry arts.”
Ticket prices vary for individual Pastry Week workshops and events. Tickets can be purchased online or by calling the Box Office at 479-657-2335.
Pastry Week is sponsored by The Coca-Cola Company.
