After the discussion, we’ll have a screenprinting station where you can get a shirt with a custom design by EO, as well as get to know your fellow creatives.

ABOUT THE SPEAKER

Matthew McMillan is an artist and creative professional who explores various mediums, including experience design, graphic design, print making, sculpture, furniture design, and creative copywriting. With a firm belief in the transformative potential of what he calls “capital G” Good ideas and Good design, Matthew is dedicated to using his artistic practice to positively impact people by challenging viewers to double take.

As the Creative Director of EO Space, a small design and production studio he started with friends, he leads client projects in launching new brand identities, crafting marketing campaigns, designing merchandise collections, and mapping event experiences. EO Space’s clients span across diverse industries including cultural institutions, consumer goods, community spaces, influencer merchandising, and fashion. Actively engaged in his community, Matthew often hosts events and also volunteers as the Vice Chair and Small Business Representative of the City of Fayetteville’s Community Development Advisory Board, contributing his marketing expertise to civic funding decisions.

Through collaboration and interdisciplinary exploration, Matthew’s work often pursues ideas that have layered meanings and are hidden under playful tones. His work aims to spark conversations and inspire individuals to engage with their surroundings in a more intentional way, fostering simple appreciation for the power of design.
