Take a fabric dyeing class inside our exhibition Esteban Cabeza de Baca: Let Earth Breathe, currently on view.

Participants are invited to hand-dye fabric with indigo—a natural, plant-based dye found throughout the exhibition. You’ll learn how to apply techniques inspired by Esteban’s practice and receive step-by-step guidance to help you bring your own creative visions to life.

To participate, you will need to bring new or gently worn clothing or fabric to upcycle through this natural dyeing process. Dyeable fabrics are not included with registration.
