Set among the beauty of the Ozarks, FreshGrass has welcomed nearly 20,000 attendees to the Momentary since its inception.
Now in its fourth year, the festival will take place May 17-18, 2024, and the knockout list of artists will include Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit, Trampled by Turtles, Aoife O’Donovan, Alison Brown, Ruthie Foster, S.G. Goodman, Arkansauce, Meridian Brothers, and Peter One, with more announced in the coming months.
“We are thrilled to bring FreshGrass back to the Momentary, featuring a lineup of exceptionally talented artists responsible for creating extraordinary music,” said Jill Wagar, interim director of the Momentary and deputy director for Crystal Bridges. “The Momentary has consistently proven to be one of the most welcoming, accessible, and rewarding places to experience music here in the Heartland. In the coming year, we’re presenting countless live performances alongside food and art – and we can’t wait to see you here.”
Having debuted in October of 2021, FreshGrass | Bentonville has become a staple of the festival scene in Northwest Arkansas. Past FreshGrass headliners have included phenomenal talents from 12-time Grammy winner Dispatch (Acoustic) to lauded singer-songwriter Amos Lee, and a myriad of national and local stars, Grammy-nominated artists, and internationally and nationally acclaimed musicians taking the stage over the weekend.
Presented by the Momentary in collaboration with the FreshGrass Foundation and No Depression, the 2024 performances will be accompanied by fun family-friendly activities, great local food and drink, homegrown retail vendors, artist merchandise, and more. Festival programming will also include FreshScores, a silent film with original live music, and all-new FreshGrass musical commissions and world premieres.
