Upcoming Remodel Transforms the Momentary
Work on the reimagined space begins MONDAY, March 13, 2023
The Momentary will undergo a transformation beginning this week – the first step in a reimagined Momentary that guests will see emerge this Spring. A remodel of the interior Momentary atrium and lobby starts Monday, March 13.
During this time, Onyx coffee will close for a few weeks. To accommodate the temporary closure of Onyx, the Tower Bar will offer coffee service during the day. Typically reserved for Momentary members before 5 p.m., the Tower Bar will be open to everyone Tuesday through Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., during the remodel. Guests can spend their afternoons enjoying the best views in Bentonville and stick around for weekday happy hour specials!
The remodel will not impact any programs or gallery visitation at this time. Access to the RØDE House will still be available from the outside entrance, with atrium bathroom access available for RØDE programs only. The Momentary Shop will remain open through April 10, 2023, when the next phase of the remodel reconfigures the retail space.
The interior transformation of the Momentary is being led by the design firm Lambert Maguire (LMD) in Austin, Texas. Learn more and stay up to date with the Momentary makeover at theMomentary.org.
Upcoming performances at the Momentary include Art Off the Walls: Dance in the Museum, presented by Flyover Dance Collective, on March 15 and 16. The Momentary also has three visual arts exhibitions currently on view: What a Time to be by Yvette Mayorga, Firelei Baez, and [siccer] by Will Rawls.
The Momentary is open Tuesday – Thursday 10 a.m. – 6 p.m., Friday – Saturday 10 a.m. – 8 p.m., and Sunday 10 a.m. – 6 p.m. The Tower Bar will be open Tuesday – Saturday 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. for daytime services. In the evenings, the Tower Bar will be open Tuesday – Thursday 5 – 10 p.m., and Friday and Saturday 5 p.m. – 12 a.m.
